Upon reflection over the December break , I am enthused to see how our young Alumnae association
has grown in only a few years. DID YOU KNOW our association is known as one of the leading Alumni
communities across SA?
And this is thanks to the support, effort and dedication of a few: the Brescia Board, Heather,
Ann, Benedikte, Tumi, Simonetta, Candyce, Caitlin,Annie, Stephanie, Je’mae, Jane and Amy.
We have a lot we want to accomplish going forward.We would love to see more of our Alumnae become
life members by paying the once-off membership fee of only R1 500.00. This will go towards the bursary
for one of our Alumna’s girls to attend the school. And this is really our aim, to pay it forward.
I will be stepping down as Chairlady this year, and handing over to the very capable Je’mae Mountjoy (Class of 2003), who I know will take this Association to new heights. I will still remain part of
the Alumnae committee, as there really is something special in being connected to this community with heart.
